It is actually a house made of multiple houses; a house for full-time grandparents, a house for the weekend for the next generation and their family, and a house for guests. These ‘houses’ are held together by connecting shared living and play spaces. The arrangement of the spaces has been designed to maximise outdoor living and a sense of being within the woodland.
